Mission and Goal-The mission and goals of the Deaver herbarium
are to house, curate, and archive vascular plants from the lands of
Arizona, the Colorado Plateau in general, elsewhere in western North
America, and montane regions worldwide. ASC provides storage and curation
of specimens to the greater NAU community and all federal and state
natural resource agencies in Arizona and on the Colorado Plateau. The
herbarium staff also serves as a valuable resource providing specimen
identification and database access or downloads to this broad community
of researchers and land managers.
