Shape the Future of the REU Program

Biology REU Site Directors were invited to a 2-day workshop in Arlington, Virginia which was held on March 8-9, 2007.

The objectives of the workshop are to share experiences, learn about exemplary models, network with peers, and make recommendations for the REU program at NSF. Workshop outcomes, including solutions to common problems and recommendations for program improvements will be incorporated into a final report to be compiled and edited by the Program Committee by the spring of 2008.

One representative from each REU site is eligible to attend the workshop. A second representative may be eligible if space allows following the closure of the main registration period. The main registration period closes Friday, January 19th.
